Direct to Garment (also known as DTG) is very different than traditional screen printing. It uses new technology, similar to inkjet printing, to print directly onto the garment. It’s capable of printing full color and is ideal for short run, multi-color jobs. However, not all DTG printing equipment is the same.

First generation units were basically repurposed ink jet printers built for short runs on light colored garments. The newest generation of equipment has been engineered specifically for printing on garments and includes industrial strength print heads capable of producing larger quantities and more consistent printing.

We’ve invested in state-of-the-art equipment to make sure the quality and production capability are there for our clients. We chose Kornit because their equipment in highly efficient. It includes industrial strength print heads capable of longer consistent runs, a patented process that prints a base layer of white and the CMYK layer at the same time and they manufacture their own eco-friendly, water-based pigment inks that deliver high yield compared to other equipment. What does this mean to you? It enables us to deliver bright, vibrant colors on white or dark garments at an affordable price.
